Water Management
Surface treatment requires water. A lot of water. At LGTB, all waste water from the various process technologies is collected and processed separately. Various process technologies process the water to a particularly high degree of purity. Moreover, we recycle 65% of the purified waste water: a unique feature. And a way to greatly reduce water consumption.
Cogeneration Plant
In 2009, we invested in a cogeneration plant. This simultaneously produced electricity and heat increased efficiency by 30% compared to conventional techniques. Meanwhile, we are above 50,000 running hours, which led to a drastic reduction in our carbon footprint.
Green Electricity
LGTB sources 100% green power, hereby relying solely on renewables such as wind, solar and hydro.
