The advantages of the KTL process include
With cathodic dip painting, or KTL, a thin coat of paint is applied by means of an electric current. This coat of paint is typically black in color and mainly serves to protect the underlying steel from rust and damage. KTL is widely used as a primer, but increasingly also as a "stand alone" solution.
