Technical Silver plating - detail page
Technical silver plating
A process in which a layer of 99.9% pure silver is electrolytically applied to a component. This layer can be applied over the entire component or to specific locations.

Bolts & Nuts
Bolts and nuts are usually protected against corrosion by, for example, applying a metal protective layer. However, for special applications, industry also requires special coatings to improve a specific property.
Unique process
One such application is the internal hard silver plating of nuts. LGTB has developed a unique non-destructive process that significantly reduces the lead time for large quantities and the quality of the precipitated layer is far above that of barrel-plated silver items.
General production
LGTB also offers silver coatings for large volumes in both barrel and rack plating. In this process, the entire part is always coated.
